INTRO
In his book "Paradis (avant liquidation)", Julien Blanc-Gras describes the paradoxical situation of Kiribati island in Oceania, the first country that could disappear on earth due to the rise of oceans. A stunning metaphor of the ongoing climate change impact.
It seems that our world has never been so closed to be up against the wall regarding climate emergency and planet boundaries. Thanks to GIEC, climate change is a scientific consensus. It's not a political opinion. Changing climate course requires both individual and collective actions.

However, our societies are still facing the "don't look up" effect, reinforced by geopolitical situations, local political leaders, mainstream media and our comfort zone. Climate denial on one side. On the other side, there is also a long and difficult deconstruction process for each individual, trapped in its own contradictions from the old world and the desire to embrace this change. This can also lead to eco-anxiety.
Today, feeding our society storytelling has never been so mandatory to show the way to a more adapted, resilient and also desirable world in order to foster change and action. Good news is that pioneers are here to show us the way. People who are recently engaged or since many years as citizens, activists, journalists, entrepreneurs, leaders and also youth generations, artists of this movement. Indie People who are new makers :: changers :: leaders :: heroes :: icons should be our lights.
What better way than tell their story to better understand the new world we are building, to identify the levers to onboard more people in this change and propose a new imaginary to inspire our new utopias.

WHO I AM?
Thomas Verjus - Change Storyteller

After 10 years working in healthcare, I have started my "bifurcation". Passionate about travel, photography/video and writing, I wanted to combine and align these passions with my values to better embrace our ecological and social change. A unique opportunity to document the society change and cultural revolution we are living and contribute, at my small scale, to feed this new collective narrative.
My awareness of the need for a paradigm shift has accelerated these past two years. I have filmed first episodes in France and Spain and hit the road in May 2023 for a slow travel from Europe to Asia, living also an old travel dream.
Back in Europe, I'm currently filming season 2 in Europe and North Africa.
